“Dr. Cody Haun is brilliant when it comes to taking science and applying it practically to achieve the best results possible. I studied under Cody at LaGrange College while pursuing my Master’s degree, and I learned very quickly how excellent and driven he was as not only a professor but also as a coach. We began working together as an athlete and coach at the beginning of January 2019. I had set out to achieve several goals. This included dropping a weight class in powerlifting to be more competitive and qualify for the USAPL Raw Nationals, which I successfully won the USAPL Georgia Spring Open 83kg class after losing approximately 30 lbs. Not only did I win and qualify for Nationals, but I totaled 652.5 kg/1435.5 lbs with squatting and deadlifting over 3x my bodyweight. The next goal included improving my work capacity and endurance for Army basic combat training, which began 2 months after my powerlifting meet, and Cody was able to help me do just that. I easily endured the physical rigours of BCT at Ft. Benning, GA which I can attribute to the programming Cody had me undergo.
